Kirstin White – Artist
Kirstin White trained at Salisbury College of Art between 1979 – 1982. She is an enthusiastic and experienced tutor who enjoys passing on her knowledge.
During the height of the summer, accompanied by her spotty dog, Kirstin travels the UK painting. She works in watercolour and frequently includes additional drawing media in her pictures.
Kirstin paints rapidly and on-the-spot. She is often commissioned to paint at wedding receptions and other events such as parties, music festivals, fetes, fairs and shows.
Kirstin can be booked for demonstrations to Art Societies, for one day workshops and for outdoor painting sessions. She runs regular weekly art clubs in Dummer, Eastleigh and in Winchester. Painting and drawing tuition is available on a one to one basis too. Life drawing sessions are with students at Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh, at the University of Southampton. Kirstin lives on the south coast of England and has a studio in Dummer, near Basingstoke. She enjoys sailing and, when practical, paints while on the water. Other hobbies include working her allotment where she grows tulips, dahlias and a wide variety of organic vegetables. She has two adult children.
