The 2016 Titchfield Art & Craft Show was a great success visited by approximately 1,000 visitors over the course of the weekend.  We raised £7,000 for Titchfield Community Centre and a further £500 was raised for The Oasis Youth Club to use for Art related projects.

All proceeds from Titchfield Art & Craft Show go to support Titchfield Community Centre and other local charities and your participation and support is much appreciated.

The Titchfield Art and Craft Show, now in its 43rd year, continues to attract a large number of visitors from around the region.  Held in the Community Centre in the historic village of Titchfield, the show offers visitors a wide variety of local art work and, in recent years, has introduced crafts and demonstrations by local makers and societies; promoting the two events together is helping to bridge the gulf between art and craft and attract contemporary art collectors to buy good quality craft and design.  Proceeds from the stand fees is split between the Community Centre charity and other local charities decided by the art show committee.  The next show will take place from the 5th to 7th May 2017 with opening times as follows:

Preview Evening 5th May 2017 : 7pm – 9.30pm
Saturday 6th May 2017 : 10am – 5pm

Sunday 7th May 2017 : 10am – 4pm

The show will be publicised via local media, road signs and postcards, in addition to social network sites and internet listings.  Each maker will be sent electronic posters to send to mailing lists, friends and family.

Applying and Selection

Applications for the craft show are invited from individual makers or groups.  All work on display must be hand made by the maker(s) applying.  We reserve the right to select makers wanting to share spaces.

Where possible we will require 2 – 3 good quality images of your work (at least 300dpi images if possible as these may be used in advertising), along with the application form.  No money should be sent at this stage as spaces are limited and therefore makers will be selected for the event based on the quality of products, number of applications and variety of crafts.

Deadline for submission of applications is Friday 24th February 2017.

Selection will be made by the Friday 3rd March 2017 and we will contact you directly.  If successful, you will be required to pay for your table in full by Saturday 18th March 2017, details will be sent to you at a later date.

Space, Costs and Insurance

Spaces are approximately 2.4m x 1.8m and tables are provided by the Community Centre.
Makers are not permitted to take up room outside of this space without the prior consent of the organisers, this includes free standing rails, mannequins, shelving, small tables, banners etc.  Makers are not permitted to hang products on the walls, however you may use a display screen within your space.  If you have any special requirements regarding display hardware please give details on application.  Due to limitation of space and our aim to maximise the variety of makers on display, only one table is permitted per maker unless you wish to pay for more.  Electrical sockets are available to those who require them, please make this known on application.

The cost per space is £75 for the show with an additional cost of £5 for electrical points.

Please note that, whilst the Centre is made secure at the end of each session, we do not arrange insurance cover for your goods and equipment so each maker will be required to have public liability insurance for at least £2,000,000 and a copy of your insurance cover should be sent with your application form.
(For those who do not have existing insurance we recommend taking an annual subscription with AN Magazine which includes an artist specific insurance for a very reasonable fee, see www.a-n.co.uk for details).

Terms and Conditions

  • All work must be original and by the maker.
  • If selected, payment for your table must be paid in full by Saturday 18th March 2017 to secure your place. Any unpaid stands will then be offered to our reserve list.
  • If a stand is cancelled before Friday 1st April 2017 you will be entitled to a refund of 50% of your stand fee. Any cancellation after this date will forfeit any stand fee paid.
  • You are responsible for your own insurance and public liability.
  • Makers must to be present throughout the duration of the show, including the Preview evening.

2017 Visitor Information

Our Preview Evening will be held on Friday 5th May from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.  This is a ticket only event, tickets will be available from Titchfield Community Centre at the beginning of April.  The cost of a ticket is £7.50 and includes Entry to the Show for the entire weekend, A Catalogue and Refreshments at the preview evening.

The Show will be open to the public from Saturday 6th May at 10am.  Entry will cost £2.00 per person, Under 14’s free.  Sorry there are no concessions.

A catalogue has been produced which lists all the art work that is on display.  It also lists the crafters that are at the Show and contains some information about our fundraising from last years show, plus information about how you can get involved with the show.  The catalogue costs £1.50 and all proceeds from the sale of the catalogues goes to Titchfield Community Centre and other local charities.
